SCHAUMBURG, Ill.—Motorola Inc. said it has made a phone known as i55sr that can withstand physically demanding conditions.
The handset, which is based on the Java 2 platform, Micro Edition technology, comes with pre-installed business and entertainment applications such as calculators and games.
