RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.—eMerging Information Systems Inc. announced the installation of its Java-based Libertis business support system for Italy’s Energ.it Spa is complete.
Energ.it said it plans to use the Libertis system to create a billing infrastructure that will allow it to implement competitive pricing plans and to manage its growing subscriber base. “Emerging companies such as Energ.it are well positioned in today’s competitive marketplace as they have the luxury of being able to develop, from scratch, the necessary infrastructure to handle complicated next-generation technological challenges,” explained Marita Mitschein, chief executive officer of eMIS. “eMIS is very pleased to be able to provide Energ.it with a solid architectural framework to help them grow their business.”
