VANCOUVER, British Columbia—Wireless software developer Veratium Software Ltd. has launched its Motivus Enterprise Server 2.3, which it said enables users to wirelessly access files and folders residing on desktop computers or corporate networks.
This version of the Motivus server includes Microsoft Project files, Microsoft Access databases and complete integration into Microsoft Outlook. “Our goal is to provide practical productivity tools to the growing mobile work force so we listen closely to what users need,” explained Phil Calvin, Veratium’s chief executive officer. “Microsoft Windows is the predominant desktop solution so we’ve focused our efforts on expanded access in that environment. …We see this release of Motivus as the next step in truly mobilizing the Windows Desktop.”
