NEW YORK—In the wake of the events of Sept. 11, efforts are being made to reschedule Wireless World 2001, which was to begin September 24 at the World Trade Center in New York.
“We will not let terror succeed, at least in the only part we have some control of: the economy,” said Jonathan Sarno,” chairman of the show. “We will go ahead with the event, one way or another. … It will happen, make no mistake of that, and it will be dedicated to the innocent victims of this horrendous tragedy.”
