STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson has agreed to expand VoiceStream’s national GSM wireless network and deploy EDGE infrastructure in a deal that could exceed $300 million over a three-year period, according to an Ericsson press statement.
Under the pact, Ericsson will install GSM 1900 network equipment like core network and radio-access infrastructure in New Orleans and Virginia, and expand VoiceStream’s network in Florida.
