LONDON—Motorola Inc. has agreed to develop and market a wind-up power source in a co-branding and distribution deal with a self-sufficient energy technology developer Freeplay Energy Group.
The wind-up accessory is expected to provide between three and six minutes of talk and several hours of standby for each 45-second hand-cranking session for Motorola and other wireless phones, according to a press statement.
