BEIJING—Around 400 operators and manufacturers from 19 countries and regions this week took part in the 2001 PT Wireless & Networks Comm China Exhibition in Beijing.
The major topic was third-generation (3G) mobile communication technology. Japan’s NTT DoCoMo showed its i-mode handset, while Nokia showcased its wideband-CDMA (W-CDMA) products.
