Bezeq trials unified messaging technology

BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, United States—CTI Squared said Israel’s Bezeq has begun a unified messaging trial called OneMail using CTI’s unified messaging application. Access to the service will be available by fixed and wireless telephone, personal computer and the Internet.

Bezeq’s users can use one mailbox for voice messages, fax messages and e-mails. They can retrieve and respond to messages via the telephone and send them to an e-mail account. In addition, customers can listen to e-mail messages over the phone and respond to the messages via a telephone call.

Additional interfaces, such as the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), will be included in the future.
