RESTON, Va.—XO Communications Inc. reported revenues for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 of $331.5 million, a 48-percent increase from the $224.3 million reported for third-quarter 2000.
The company experienced a loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $53.3 million, compared with a loss of $88.9 million for the same period the previous year.
XO said it has more than $1 billion in cash and it expects to be fully funded into the second half of next year.
