KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Sprint PCS said it will offer downloadable ringtones and screen savers to its customers through its Web site or wireless Web service.
The musical ringtones will be provided by Sony/ATV Music Publishing and EMI Music Publishing, with the nearly 200 graphics provided by the Walt Disney Internet Group, King Features Syndicate, Creators Syndicate Inc., The Collegiate Licensing Co. and Uclick.
Sprint customers will be able to download up to eight pieces of content each month using LG’s TP5250 handset, Sanyo’s SCP-5150 handset and Kyocera’s 2255 handset. Sprint noted the first three months of the service would be free with additional months priced at $4.
