Motorola signs cross-platform agreement with AOL Time Warner

NEW YORK—Motorola said it has signed a cross-platform agreement to allow it to market popular AOL Time Warner content and services through mobile and instant messaging solutions.

The U.S.-based company will license Warner Bros. content like Looney Tunes characters for ring tones, screen savers and wireless games on mobile devices in Europe, said Motorola.

“Motorola will also be increasing its marketing presence across the AOL Time Warner family of brands in a campaign that could include television, print and online media, including Turner network properties, Time magazines, and America Online Brands like AOL, CompuServe and Netscape,” said Motorola in a statement.
