KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—HVAC service provider BlueDot announced it has partnered with Airtuit to roll out a wireless initiative that will give its field service personnel wireless contact with corporate systems.
With Airtuit’s BlueMoon wireless application server to access its WennSoft system, BlueDot workers can accept orders, update status, close jobs, initiate invoicing cycles and communicate with central dispatch.
“BlueDot’s intent in exploring wireless technology was to find a solution that could streamline our dispatch system, thereby making our operations more efficient,” said Ross Meriwether of BlueDot. “With Airtuit’s BlueMoon software, we were able to increase the productivity of our field techs, simplify the job of our dispatchers, and increase our responsiveness to the customer.”
