PARK CITY, Utah—Independent movie enthusiasts at the Sundance Film Festival, running Jan. 10-20, will be treated to a variety of cutting-edge wireless technologies, including wireless access to movie showtimes, customizable itineraries, calendar updates, film shorts, Flash animations and film trailers.
FluxNetwork Inc., teaming with Hewlett-Packard Co., Symbol Technologies Inc. and Microsoft Corp., will offer HP Jornada personal digital assistants running over a Symbol Wi-Fi network to selected attendees. The lucky festival-goers will be able to wirelessly access the event’s 300-page catalogue.
