WASHINGTON—The Federal Communications Commission on Wednesday approved the reorganization of the agency, announced FCC Chairman Michael K. Powell.
The FCC is in the process of informing congressional appropriators of the change and will wait for official approval before finalizing the reorganization.
The reorganization had no significant impact on the FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau.
