SAN JOSE—Mentor Graphics Corp. and NewLogic are making Bluetooth integration easier through a marketing agreement that lets system-on-chip designers license Bluetooth silicon intellectual property from the Mentor Graphics Inventra Intellectual property division.
According to the agreement, NewLogic’s Bluetooth BOOST IP family can be easily integrated into an SoC design through a new platform from Mentor Graphics that features CPU bus wrappers and interface bridges for Bluetooth core and other IP cores.
“Mentor Graphics has a reputation for high-quality IP cores and strong SoC support services to ensure that licensees can easily integrate a Bluetooth solution in a time-sensitive application,” Maha Osman, chief operating officer of NewLogic said of the company’s new partner.
