HONG KONG—Wireless enthusiasts in Hong Kong will be the first in the world to see the commercial availability of U.S. vendor Handspring’s new wireless Treo device.
The company announced it is selling the device through SmarTone operator stores and select Information Technology outlets.
The Treo is Handspring’s new personal digital assistant/mobile-phone device. The company said the device will soon be available in Europe, followed by the United States in March.
