HELSINKI, Finland—Nokia Corp. said it will integrate Macromedia Inc.’s Flash Player into its Mediaterminal, which combines digital video broadcast, full Internet access, personal video recorder technology and gaming.
The Macromedia Flash player offers advanced graphic effects, MP3 audio playback and a slew of interactive applications.
“The collaboration between Macromedia and Nokia enables the over 1 million designer and developer members of the Macromedia developer community to leverage their existing skills to create unique applications for Nokia’s home entertainment environment,” said Nokia in a statement.
