ATLANTA—Numerex Corp. announced its new expanded long-term wireless strategy, which involves introducing products for machine-to-machine communications working over a variety of technologies.
Numerex said its customers will soon be able to send machine-to-machine communications using the company’s Cellemetry analog technology, SMS telemetry or—for large data transfers—circuit-switched analog or digital voice channels.
The company said it will introduce new multimode radios to support the various functions by the middle of this year.
