CANNES, France—Intec Telecom Systems and Apama are teaming up this week in Cannes to demonstrate the 3G billing process using a fictitious online dating service.
Apama will record profile information of fictitious characters searching for dates in a log file and then match the profiles in real time to personal preferences of demonstration participants. Intec will then use its Inter-mediatE convergent mediation solution, which is powered by the Apama Engine, to distribute the log information in real time, and an invoice in the form of a telephone bill will be produced.
According to the companies, the demonstration shows Inter-mediatE’s billing record mediation flexibility, including invoicing for premium online session time or individual billing statements based on matches made to particular profiles.
