STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Sweden’s Telia said it was not granted a stay of execution for telecom regulator National Post and Telecom Agency’s (PTS) order to reduce Telia’s GSM interconnection charges from about 11 cents to 9 cents.
Telia had appealed PTS’ decreased interconnection order and requested a suspension of the order. The County Administrative Court’s decision not to grant a suspension means Telia must reduce its interconnection charges to 9 cents beginning March 1 until the appeal is settled.
Telia said it is considering how to proceed with the matter.
