SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.—Integrated wireless and Web-based software application provider ViryaNet said it has acquired all outstanding shares of iMedeon Inc., of Alpharetta, Ga., for about 4.3 million shares of ViryaNet, plus an additional 900,000 shares, subject to ViryaNet shareholder approval.
ViryaNet said benefits of the transaction, which is valued at approximately $2.85 million, include mobile computing technology; domain expertise; powerful partnerships; and a growing customer base.
