Nortel dissolves office of chief executive

TORONTO—Nortel Networks said it has dissolved the “office of chief executive” comprising current chief executive Frank Dunn, former CEO John Roth and board executive chairman Lynton Wilson, as Roth steps out of the board.

“The board feels the office of the chief executive is no longer required,” said Wilson in a statement. “This is a vote of confidence in Frank Dunn and his team.”
