PARIS—French vendor Alcatel signed a GSM expansion contract estimated at US$76 million with Zhejiang Mobile Communication Company in China
Under the deal, Alcatel will deliver its Evolium infrastructure, comprising base stations, base station controller, mobile switching center and home location register, as well as software, in seven cities and regions of the Zhejiang province in the first half of this year.
