BERKELEY, Calif.—Otelnet, a provider of intelligent push solutions for wireless operators, announced the rollout of three new mobile content channels for carriers: lifestyle, entertainment and public safety.
Otelnet now partners with content and application providers in each genre to deliver location-sensitive customized push services to mobile subscribers. According to Otelnet, these new “pull-only” channels will offer wireless operators a new source of revenue.
“Wireless carriers demand end-to-end solutions that allow them to offer their subscribers valuable new services and generate immediate revenues,” explained Jeff Condon, Otelnet’s vice president of marketing. “We looked to the market to identify the type of content and applications subscribers wanted and would pay for.
