HACKENSACK, N.J.—GoAmerica Inc. announced it will team with Verizon Wireless to offer the Verizon Wireless Express Network, which is based on 1xRTT CDMA technology, to its corporate customers.
According to their six-year agreement, GoAmerica will integrate its Go.Web technology with Verizon Wireless’ network to expand the network’s wireless data delivery capabilities.
“In trials conducted earlier this year, GoAmerica experienced excellent response rates and speeds,” said Marty May, vice president of carrier relations for GoAmerica. “We have worked closely with Verizon Wireless since our inception and are pleased to extend our relationship to bring this latest technology to our customers.”
GoAmerica plans to begin offering CDMA in the second quarter of this year and will continue to expand CDMA service on the Express Network in conjunction with the Verizon Wireless’ nationwide rollout.
