MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL—The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport now is equipped with a neutral-host wireless network system, giving travelers with laptops or handheld devices outfitted with a Wi-Fi network card the ability to access the Internet.
The network was developed by Concourse Communications Group and iPass Inc. The network is delivered through an Aironet wireless local area network and a Cisco Systems Inc. Building Broadband Services Manager software platform. Ipass provides the roaming platform.
The service is free through April 30. Effective May 1, the service will be priced at $8 per month for unlimited daily access.
