Swedish government probes Ericsson’s bookkeeping practices

STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Ericsson AB’s bookkeeping practices have come under the spotlight of tax obstruction as the country’s Economic Crimes Bureau examines the company’s accounts.

The agency will inquire whether Ericsson seriously violated any standard practices with regard to $241.7 million during its 2000 tax assessment.
