SAN JOSE, Calif.—A subsidiary of wireless enterprise company Semotus Solutions filed a $20 million lawsuit against Internet service provider EarthLink Networks Inc., alleging EarthLink failed to pay for a Web site it designed, built and operated.
Semotus subsidiary WizShop.com said it built EarthLink’s shopping mall Web site but received no payment. Further, WizShop said EarthLink concealed information about the transaction, and denied WizShop’s auditors access to its book and records.
The complaint was filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court and seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
