LOS ANGELES—Cingular Wireless launched its Internet Express GPRS service in California and Reno, Nevada joining its already launched markets in Seattle and Spokane, Wash.; Las Vegas; eastern Tennessee; North Carolina; South Carolina; and coastal areas of Georgia. The carrier expects to introduce services nationwide by early 2004.
Pricing plans for the service begin at $9 per month with current handset offerings consisting of the Motorola V60 and T193 and Ericsson’s T61z.
