RESTON, Va.—Nextel Communications Inc. has tapped former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani to help the carrier in its attempt to realign the public-safety spectrum bands.
Through a strategic alliance Giuliani Partners L.L.C. will contribute advice with regards to the communications needs of public-safety authorities and members of the Giuliani Partners team will provide guidance on the implementation of possible solutions.
