HELSINKI, Finland—Nokia Networks said it signed an agreement to buy a 10-percent stake for US$35.8 billion in Redback Networks Inc., with an option to increase its shares in the future.
“This cooperation and shared vision of the network evolution will deliver immediate benefits of an expanded product portfolio and integrated support services to customers of both Nokia and Redback,” said Ari Lehtoranta, senior vice president, Nokia Broadband Services.
