LONDON—Semiconductor start-up Innovics Wireless announced it is offering a solution to increase capacity and data rates and improve coverage in 2.5 and 3G cells without requiring modifications to the base station or infrastructure.
The solution involves diversity processing which combines signals from two separate antennas to increase the data rate available. According to Innovics, diversity processing can be incorporated into any device.
