LONDON-Indonesia’s Telkomsel contracted CMG Wireless Data to upgrade its short messaging service center from a capability of sending 160 messages per second to 1,500 messages. Telkomsel deployed the expansion in the regions of Surabaya and Medan at the end of May.
The operator will also add CMG’s Business Tools, which will offer the operator a way to capture subscriber business intelligence to improve services.
