Upoc starts wireless marketing campaign for MIB II

NEW YORK-Wireless advertising and entertainment company Upoc said it will conduct a wireless marketing campaign in conjunction with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the upcoming “Men in Black II” film.

The company previously worked with Sony for its “Ali” movie, and said it garnered 8,200 subscribers and sent out more than a quarter-of-a-million text messages for the campaign-evidence of the power of wireless marketing.

Upoc will send text message alerts and manage contests and give-aways for the MIB promotion.

Separately, Sprint PCS said it too will use the upcoming film to promote its wireless products and services.
