SAN MATEO, Calif.-AirWave Wireless Inc. announced it has been granted OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) certification for its AirWave Management Platform (AMP) from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.
OPSEC certification means AMP integrates with Check Point’s Internet security platform, offering customers a solution for managing and securing their wireless LANs. According to the companies, the joint solution reduces support costs, improves network performance and provides security.
