SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Advanced Micro Devices, Fujitsu Corp. and Saifun Semiconductors Ltd. say they plan to collaborate to cross-license patents, settle outstanding litigation and work toward developing next-generation non-volatile memory technology.
“By combining our long-standing expertise in Flash memory with Saifun’s capabilities and intellectual pproperty we will focus on developing the industry’s most cost-effective storage solutions,” said Bertrand Cambou, group vice president of AMD’s memory group.
