PALM BEACH, Fla.-Applied Digital Solutions Inc. said two of its technologies-Digital Angel and PLD-hold anti-kidnapping potential.
Digital Angel, a product of Digital Angel Corp., in which Applied Digital Solutions holds a majority stake, is a wearable GPS device that includes a monitor, a boundary alert function and a panic button. PLD is a subdermal personal location device still in development.
“Although our technologies have a variety of other applications, we believe Digital Angel and the forthcoming PLD have the potential to help safeguard children and provide greater peace-of-mind to parents,” said Scott Silverman, president of Applied Digital Solutions.
