T-Mobile replaces VoiceStream brand

BELLEVUE, Wash.-T-Mobile USA Inc. officially replaced the VoiceStream Wireless Corp. brand name across the United States today with its T-Mobile brand. The rebranding began in July with the launch of service in California and Nevada and has rapidly expanded across the country.

With the name change, T-Mobile is also replacing its former VoiceStream spokeswoman Jamie Lee Curtis with Catherine Zeta-Jones who will appear in nationally broadcast television, print and radio advertisements.
