MEXICO CITY-Telefonica Moviles SA completed its integration of recently acquired Mexican wireless operator Grupo Pegaso, becoming the country’s second-largest wireless carrier with more than 2 million customers.
Telefonica acquired 65 percent of Pegaso from Sprint Corp., Leap Wireless International Inc. and other investors for $87 million in cash, giving the Spanish company control of 92 percent of Pegaso.
