SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Superconductor Technologies Inc. announced its SuperFilter flagship product has exceeded 20 million hours of operation in the field.
SuperFilter, which was launched in 1997, uses high-temperature superconductor technology to create a cryogenic receiver front-end, which wireless operators use to enhance network performance while reducing capital and operating costs. There are more than 1,600 units deployed worldwide.
