TOKYO-NTT DoCoMo Inc. reported that its third communications satellite N-Star c, which was launched on July 6 by European space transportation company Arianespace, began operating on September 14.
DoCoMo said it has been operating two satellites, N-Star a and N-Star b, for its WideStar satellite mobile communications services, and that the new satellite will serve to ensure the continuation of the company’s mobile communications services.
