TOKYO-NTT DoCoMo, the largest mobile operator in Japan, is going to grant full support to French operator Bouygues Telecom to launch i-mode-like service in France. Bouygues Telecom is going to launch i-mode like service in December.
In the European market, E-Plus launched i-mode-like service in Germany in March, and KPN Mobile launched i-mode-like service in the Netherlands in April. As of September, both services have attracted a total 100,000 users.
