TOKYO-NTT DoCoMo Inc. president Norio Wada said the telecommunications giant would discuss the possibility of writing down losses on its overseas investments including AT&T Wireless Services Inc., Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. and KPN Mobile NV.

A Japanese business newspaper reported DoCoMo was expected to write down more than $4 billion in losses on its overseas investments for the first half of its fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
