FREMONT, Calif.-@Road, which provides location-enhanced wireless Internet solutions for mobile resource management, announced it acquired the majority of the assets of ConnectBusiness, which offers wireless timekeeping and project management solutions.
The company did not provide financial details, except to say that the cost of the acquisition will not have a material impact on its financial results.
“Our focus is the delivery of a full-range of mobile resource management services to customers across industries,” said Krish Panu, @Road’s president and chief executive officer. “As with previous acquisitions, @Road elected to buy instead of build this service from scratch, enabling the company to more quickly and cost-effectively offer comprehensive wireless timekeeping and project management solutions to subscribers on a hosted basis.”
Just two months ago, @Road acquired the assets of Blue Wireless Inc., a voice portal and adaptive personalization technologies provider.
