SAN DIEGO-CDMA giant Qualcomm Inc. announced its chief information officer, Norm Fjeldheim, will take over the reigns of the company’s Wireless Knowledge subsidiary, which works to sell wireless products and services to businesses.
“Qualcomm has already dedicated resources for the enterprise market, and this new organizational structure will allow Wireless Knowledge to align more closely with Qualcomm’s existing enterprise strategy,” said Fjeldheim, the new chief executive officer for Wireless Knowledge.
Fjeldheim will replace Eric Schultz, who recently resigned as CEO and chairman of Wireless Knowledge to pursue other opportunities.
