SAN DIEGO-Dr. Pieter van Rooyen, founder and chief technology officer of Zyray Wireless, will speak on Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output antenna systems (MIMO) and Space-Time Processing (STP) technologies at two upcoming conferences.
“MIMO and Space-Time Processing have emerged as the most promising research and development area in wireless communications, capable of resolving the bottlenecks of traffic capacity in future high-speed broadband wireless access networks,” explained van Rooyen. “The technology has the ability to turn multi-path propagation, usually a pitfall of wireless transmission, into an advantage for increasing the use’s data rate, network capacity and cell range.”
Van Rooyen will present his argument at the National Wireless Engineering Conference on Nov. 6 in San Diego and at the Wireless Internet Conference on Nov. 7 on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles.
