LONDON-Intec Telecom Systems said it acquired Ericsson’s Settler interconnect billing product unit for a cash amount of US$5.1 million.
The deal also allows Intel to develop and market the Settler product range, according to a press release.
“By acquiring this product unit, we not only bring in a useful additional revenue stream and wider sales channels, but also some interesting technical capabilities in areas such as least cost routing,” said Mike Frayne, Intec’s executive chairman.
