MURRAY HILL, N.J.-With its deployment by MetroPCS, Lucent Technologies Inc.’s Anypath messaging system, which allows subscribers to access and manage their communications transactions, has surpassed 500,000 active subscribers in North America and South America, according to a press release.
“The Anypath system has enjoyed a rapid rollout and shown that unified communications applications are gaining real traction in the marketplace,” said Tom Harper, executive director of the TeleMessaging Industry Association.
