PARIS-Mobileway, which manages and monetizes mobile transactions, announced it will collaborate with French radio station SkyRock to offer premium text messaging services to the station’s listeners.
“To help us interact with our increasingly mobile listeners and to take advantage of the ever-growing popularity and enormous potential offered by SMS+, we have selected Mobileway on the strength of its quality of service and reactivity,” said Frank Cheneau, the station’s director of operations.
Separately, Mobileway announced it appointed Bo Hedfors and Tony Philipp to its board of directors. Hedfors was executive vice president of Motorola Inc. and president of its global wireless infrastructure business, and Philipp was the founder of iTransEuro, a company designed to help companies expand their Internet business throughout Europe.
