DALLAS-Wireless broadband service provider airBand Communications said its Phoenix market has reached profitability four months ahead of schedule.
airBand said its customer acquisitions in Phoenix grew 114 percent for the 12-months ending Oct. 31, 2002, and revenues grew 269 percent for the first 10 months of this year, as compared to last year. airBand announced profitability in its Dallas market earlier this year.
In addition, the company recently completed a $10 million round of funding, bringing its private funding to $57 million.
